We bought my Dad a Wii for Christmas this year to go along with his new big screen TV and surround sound. We figured if this was going to possibly be his last Christmas we might as well make it a good one. The funny thing is that we are all really digging this Wii thing. I have to say that it is almost addicting. I have to apologize to Timmy for making fun of him for getting all freaked out when his character dies... it really can get to you. I just picked up The price is right on half price so hopefully I wont get too hooked on it. I have a feeling that this may be the new Herrman hangout... which would be a-okay with me! We played a whole lot of bowling when Mary and Carlos were here and my game is improving... but no where near Carlos'. He is the bowling master!

Uncle Bruce turns 50!

Miss Kyra Jean had a great time at Uncle Bruce and Aunt Barb's house (Trina's dad's side). Here she is with her 2nd cousins of sorts: Michelle, Owen and Sophie. They are playing with Michelle's Nintendo DS. (Kyra's uncle Brad gave her one for her 7th Birthday and she loves it.)

We had such a great time spending time with the Herrman/ Johnson family this weekend. Especially trying to keep Bruce's party a surprise. I didn't realize just how much effort it took to keep things so Hush Hush! It was hilarious to watch Bruce try to blow out the fifty candles on his cake. I'm shocked we didn't burn the house down. There were some pretty funny gifts too. All in all, I think he had a pretty good day.

His smiles sure make me think so!
